Morning all and thanks to any one who as just joined. I am going to start of with a moan about the weather, walking in the field this morning with the dog was bloody awful it was cold and wet and i was frozen, the dog was soaking wet and my boots covered in mud, the bottoms of my trousers were soaking wet.

I feel depressed to think this is only the beggining of the winter months and probably the best of the weather for six months. brrrrrrrrrrrr. How on earth can any one say they like winter in this country i wonder.

Sorry, avenscent, but here it's very mild with blue skies and sun...went outside this morning to top up the bird tray in my dressing gown and was amazed to find it really mild...had one or two chilly days so far...and the rain hasn't arrived yet...but tomorrow is supposed to be foul...Hope you dry out and get warm... GBHs...XXX

    It didn't last...HLOL...got the high winds and rain in the afternoon and only just stopped now...so glad to be indoors and warm... Hope you had a lovely day after this morning... GBHs....XXX

I like dry, crisp winter weather but not soggy wet weather. It hasn't been too bad here but wandering around Glasgow last week wasn't that great - I don't think my trainers have dried out yet! And because I like my jeans to be long, I ended up with wet legs from the knee down too. *shudder*

Yes its not very nice here today infact it as got worse through the day but never mind i am in the house and warm dry now, have a nice evening.xx

believe me its alot better than the snowfall in america We had 3 foot snow last year for ovver a month this weather is bliss compared to that hehehehe

Wellie weather definitely!..... With nice thick trousers tucked inside them so the hems don't get all wet and clammy You can get some cute doggie macs too to keep the worst off the poor little love

    I know what you mean, trouble is my dog as short legs and long hair that hangs on the floor and gets very wet, he as long hair on his legs as well.xx

    LOL Last one I had used to cry at the front door to be let out, then when I opened the door for him and he saw it was raining he'd walk through the house and insist on me opening the back door so he could check if the weather was any better there!
    When he found it wasn't he'd howl at me as though it was MY fault
